JOB SUMMARY:
Position Overview: Property Tax Oversight – Compliance Determination
This position plays a key role in supporting the Compliance Determination process within the Property Tax Oversight Program. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department of Revenue’s (DOR) efforts in ensuring uniformity and accuracy in property tax assessments across the state.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with in-depth studies conducted by the Department of Revenue. Perform procedural reviews across various property strata to ensure compliance and consistency. Support and participate in sales qualification studies. Review and evaluate the work of peers and county offices to ensure alignment with Program standards and expectations. Provide guidance and support to County Property Appraisers to help ensure accurate and compliant assessments. Perform related work and assist with other studies as needed.
