HR Assistant Principle Auto Who You Are Principle Auto is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Assistant to join our growing team. With strong communication skills and a service-minded approach, you support our HR team in delivering exceptional care to associates from their first day forward. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations and delivering a welcoming, structured experience for new hires. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and new associates, answering questions and ensuring a positive first impression. Communicate with candidates and managers throughout the recruitment process. Track and audit completion of preboarding processes. Assist with scheduling interviews, coordinating pre-employment screenings, and processing background checks. Coordinate and assist in all aspects of the onboarding process for new associates, including orientation sessions, welcome materials, pay plans, and offer letters. Collaborate with department managers to ensure smooth transitions for new associates into their roles. Generate reports and assist in data analysis for HR metrics/matrix. Assist HR leadership with day-to-day administrative tasks, including file management, data entry, and maintaining HR records. Support HR projects, events, and initiatives, including associate engagement activities. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive associate information at all times. What You Bring (Qualifications) 1 to 2 years of HR or administrative experience preferred; onboarding or recruiting experience is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to multitask, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Google Workspace and HRIS systems (experience with UKG a plus). Professional appearance and demeanor. A team player with a positive, service-minded attitude. Valid state-issued driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to clear a criminal background check and drug screen.
