Position Summary:
The Junior Analyst will provide analytical and operational support to the team, contributing to data-driven decision-making and process improvement initiatives. This entry-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented, highly organized individual who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Junior Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data, preparing reports, and assisting with project execution to support the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and organize data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Perform basic quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Prepare and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
Support senior analysts and managers on special projects, research assignments, and operational initiatives.
Assist in developing business cases, forecasting models, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable reports or recommendations.
Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress toward company goals.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to streamline workflows.
Maintain documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes for future reference.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the role.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
0–2 years of relevant work experience; internships or academic project work in data analysis or business operations preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and basic knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other analytical tools is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex information.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Eagerness to learn new skills, adapt to changing priorities, and work both independently and collaboratively.
