**Responsibilities** **Position Summary:** Assists Emergency Department Nurses and Physicians in delivering high quality patient centered care, and maintains supplies and equipment in the Emergency department. This position also functions as a unit coordinator providing clerical support. **Qualifications** **Required:** + One year previous direct patient care in an emergency department, ambulance, fire or emergent pre-hospital setting required. + Current BLS certification required. + Current EMT-B or EMT-P license (effective January 1, 2021 for all hires/transfers) required. + Basic knowledge of medical terminology required. **Preferred:** + EKG experience preferred. **Overview** Dominican Hospital (a member of Dignity Health) is a 222-bed facility that offers a wide range of services to residents of California's Central Coast.
